Kushi movie’s songs have recently garnered significant attention. This movie, which starred Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda, had a lot of advertising. The romantic comedy “Kushi” is directed by Shiva Nirvana, who is renowned for creating beautiful films like “Majili” and “Ninnu Kori.” Let us see how the movie does now that it has premiered in theaters.

Story :

A BSNL employee named Viplav (Vijay Deverakonda) falls in love with Aradhya (Samantha) at first sight. Aradhya, however, poses as a Muslim from Pakistan in order to avoid Viplav. After a while, Aradhya too develops feelings for Viplav and admits that her family is a typical Brahmin one. Unbeknownst to Viplav and Aradhya, their fathers, Lenin Satyam (Sachin Khedekar) and Chadrangam Srinivas Rao (Murali Sharma), have a protracted conflict. In defiance of their parents’ desires, Viplav and Aradhya get married, but their marriage faces unforeseen difficulties. How they overcome these obstacles is the central theme of the narrative.

Positive aspect :

The movie explores regular and small interpersonal problems instead than relying on any unusual notions. It is delivered in a humorous way in the second part. The conflict is successfully enhanced with engaging music and eye-catching images.

The movie really excels in the later scenes featuring the main pair, which will appeal to family viewers. These scenes are portrayed in a powerful fashion even if they are not particularly novel. In the part of Viplav, Vijay Deverakonda excels. He subtly removes his popular image and complies with the character’s requests. Throughout the entire movie, he is pretty likeable. The audience is captivated by Vijay’s humorous timing and his performance at pivotal scenes.

Negative aspect :

The movie eventually becomes extremely predictable, which lessens its impact. The storytelling is sometimes undermined because the viewer can usually guess what will happen next. It would have been preferable to handle and pay more attention to the Kerala segment.

The movie could have used some scene trimming because it is long, especially the Kashmir section, which feels a little out of place. The film’s pacing is not as strong in the first half, and after the intermission, it really starts to take off. The movie deals with a serious subject, however the director Shiva Nirvana noted during advertising that it is not fully original and makes us think of other movies.

Technical Aspects:

The second protagonist of “Kushi” is Hesham Abdul Wahab’s music. The songs are amazing, and director G. Murali has expertly captured them on camera, boosting the watching pleasure. The production values have not been compromised by Mythri Movie Makers. Editing could have been more precise.

Conclusion:

Overall, “Kushi” is an easygoing, uplifting romantic comedy. With powerful performances and deep emotions, the film’s core theme emerges in the final portions. Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda are charming, and the rest of the ensemble provides them with solid support. However, as was already said, the movie loses some of its momentum after a while. Shiva Nirvana nevertheless creates a movie that appeals to family viewers. Therefore, “Kushi” should prove to be a fun watch at the end of the week.
